I can do a 12 day work week. I can pass my license test on the first go.

But I take one look at my apartment and I know I’m still depressed.

I really liked Elementary! It was a fun series, and the ending felt like it drew me in. It dealt with “Sherlock Holmes” as a character and story in a fun yet elegant way without being “quirky”. I think I like it better than Sherlock. Don’t get me wrong, Sherlock is fun, but… it’s a bit too much? It kind of goes overboard in loving itself, in my opinion. 

I was also a bit worried about “Joan” Watson (i.e. having a female Watson) but in the end, I’d never seen a show deal so well with having a female character opposite a male lead. Not only did they avoid the “will they or won’t they” kind of tension that often happens in this kind of show, they even called out instances of sexism. Good job, Elementary.

Definitely worth watching, in my opinion! Yay.
